In class on Thursday, we gathered as a group and started to discuss what we wanted to focus on for our final project. The first idea that came to mind was working with the baseball team, however we realized how difficult it would be getting in contact with them and capturing good content. We started to consider obstacles we would face such as timing, one time activities, and price. We looked into university intermurals and found bubble soccer. Although the league started today and would not be possible, it made us realize what a fun experience that would be. Going forward, we decided to consider that when making our topic decision as we will be spending a considerable amount of time on it. Other ideas that came to mind were a sushi cooking class or a volunteer opportunity such as Lincoln’s Cat House.
With it only being week two, our focus for class was introductions, brainstorming ideas, creating a group chat, starting our blog, and filling out our team contract. I took on the role of creating the word press so we were able to post our first blog. As for challenges, I think our only struggle so far has been narrowing down what we want our project to be. There are endless possibilities for want we can do so hopefully come next week, all of us have some good ideas!
