In order to have a successful project to present at the end of the semester, we all need to work together and have clear lines of communication. As a whole, we have decided to create a schedule once we decide our project that will keep us on track. Specifically, I need to hold myself accountable to show up to class and outside meetings on time, as well as complete my work at the highest quality. Characteristics that will lead our team to success include establishing a clear direction, which I feel we are on a great track for with our ideas, open and honest communication, defined roles which will be identified when we select our project topic, holding each other mutually accountable in both work and attendance, setting a common goal for what we want to accomplish, and trust that everyone is going to produce their best work. Characteristics that will hurt our team are members lacking attendance, not meeting deadlines we set, and members who do not agree with the group but also do not propose alternative options.
This week in class we talked ideas for our project. It was very productive, and we came up with lots of great ideas. I created the PowerPoint for next weeks class to present with our top contenders. The only challenges we came across were unrealistic ideas of what we wanted to do like creating an escape room. Unfortunately, we realized it would just be too expensive even though it would be so interesting. There was nothing I would do differently as I felt we got a lot accomplished!
