Week 3 Blog – Payton Vergin

This week, our group narrowed down to our top three project ideas. Thus far, our group hasn’t had any conflicts of interest. It seemed that we agreed with each other on most of the pitches which is awesome because then it will be something we all enjoy. The three ideas that we have are taking a painting class at Corky Canvas, participating in a kickball intramural on campus, and entering in an ice cream eating contest at E Creamery. I am very interested to see which one our peers think that we should choose for the project. Personally I am leaning towards the intramural because I believe we will get the most content/footage from that, but I am open to anything. In order for our team to be successful this semester we need to have good communication and be flexible! You never know what could come up when you’re working on a big project like this one, so we need to be prepared to go with the flow and tweak things accordingly. The best teams encourage each others’ opinions and support each other when they need it. After next class period, we will know what direction we are heading in and will be able to start the planning process!
