This week my team pitched our projects to the class and some other guests. We got a lot of detailed and very helpful for each individual idea. Before the pitch, my team was already pretty set on one specific project idea, however, a lot of the feedback we received pointed out many issues we would encounter doing that project. In the end, we collectively agreed to do the food challenges, the one we were set on from the beginning. There are definitely a lot of challenges we would have to overcome such as the limited amount of footage we would get, the price, and how this project is going to flow all together. We do have some ideas to combat those challenges, but this project will definitely put our creativity to the test. For this project to be successful, we will definitely need to make a schedule or timeline, to make sure everything gets done in time, who will do it, and when everything is due. A schedule will make sure we stay organized and so there is never any confusion on what is happening. This will definitely bring us close to success.
We also finished the team contract together, each of us contributing a little to it. Since we had to pitch our project this week, the main challenge was actually presenting the ideas and seeing if others think they are unique and good ideas. It ended up being a simple presentation that went straight to the point. If we were to do presentations again, I would want us to be prepared with more information and maybe a bit more creativity and organization on our slide.
