The thing that stood out the most to me from the presentations was the amazing quality of the pictures in all of the presentations. The pictures were displayed in a large context and they all looked really good. All of the pictures had the same style and aesthetic of the other ones in their respective projects. This really allowed the projects to flow effectively in my opinion. I also learned from the presentations to be clear in the story that you are telling with the project. Some of the websites didn’t really make it clear what the point of the project was or the product it was trying to sell. Additionally, I learned not to put important information in hoverable things because mobile users may not be able to view both of them. This week we are preparing to meet and do research on Sunday. This is when we will figure out what we want specific media we want to capture from the event. This week we are just thinking about what media we are going to capture and what style we are going to present it in. On Sunday we will watch some Man vs. Food to get inspired and plan what equipment we are going to bring to the event when we shoot in a couple of weeks.
