Connor Kmiecik – Week 8 Blog

We got content from two different eating challenges on Saturday, so we are making excellent progress on our project. We will probably try to do one more in Lincoln, once we edit the content that we have together so we know what we are looking for in capturing media. Our biggest challenge now is getting all of our media into one cohesive package and framing a consistent story. I think we have delegated the different tasks well among the group members. We had a couple of issues recording stuff, we did not have the right sd card for the gopro and the audio files that we recorded on a hand-held audio recorder are lost. This is unfortunate because we got a good interview with one of the workers at one of the restaurants, but we can re-record those audio pieces with higher quality microphones now. Our next step is to choose the content that we want to include in the final project and put it together, and then film one final challenge and piece it all together. I am very happy with our progress so far and I think our project is turning out really good. I will be editing the videos over the next couple of weeks.
